Not even scared!

NOT EVEN SCARED!

Jack was sitting outside on his porch. Night began to fall. Disturbing shadows invaded the street. A black cat ran by with a devilish MEOW. The wood of the stoop creaked; something was approaching. Jack felt a chill and didn't dare look around, but his eyes widened: “Aaahh! What are those hideous creatures?” A skeleton dangled in front of him followed by a vampire 1 meter 10cm tall, and a very ugly witch with a wart on her nose. They were all coming up to the door. The witch had a basket in which ... “Ooohh! What a fright!” ... A big black hairy spider was dangling by the thread of its web. "Nooo! For heaven's sake! "Jack screamed in terror.

"BOOO! Trick or Treat! " The mini-vampire screamed out while the witch was digging into her basket. Jack trembled. What a fright! A few minutes later he felt the same chill again. Now a zombie and a big bloody ghost were moving up towards the door.

"BOOO! Trick or Treat! " The zombie squealed in a hoarse yet high-pitched voice. The giant ghost spread out his white sheet and let out a disturbing "OOO OOOH". Now, Jack was petrified. "My poor sweet little heart cannot take all this!” He said.

All evening, Jack shuddered and wobbled at each hideous monster, troll, and lanky mummy that climbed the porch steps to scream out "BOOO! Trick or Treat! "

Finally, after a few terrifying hours, the horror show was over.

Jack sighed: "It's official, I hate Halloween! Not even mentioning all the terrible faces and toothless mouths, and the fact that, I stood here all night freezing, with only a stupid candle to keep me warm! What a nightmare! "

Suddenly, two giant hands came out of nowhere, grabbed him and took him inside. "Let's go old man, we don't need you anymore! Tonight, you go into the pot! " "Ah! A job for me! " Jack said delighted. Alleviated, he obediently allowed himself to be peeled and then be cut into pieces. He was then sautéed with a little butter, and seasoned with salt and pepper. To finish up, he was tossed into the pot of boiling water, which was already simmering with two potatoes and a nice clove of garlic.

AAARGHHH! HOW FRIGHTFUL!!

What? Didn't you get it? Jack is a pumpkin!

                                                    BOOOO! TO YOU TOOO!
